Another on the Talent Show

I suppose I shouldn't let this go ... now that I've been writing about this for a while ...

The Welsh Mogadon has departed. And I'm not saddened. Bye, Lloyd.

So we're left with 4 ...

Olly Murs
Stacey Solomon
Danyl Johnson
Joe McElderry

And I've placed them in order of preference, entirely subconsciously.

Yet, by all that is unholy, Joe McElderry will win. Why? I have no clue.

This is a male who sounds like a female, with the vibrato permanently switched on. And the 4 judges seem to love him. Good for him. What they see in him I have no idea ... They complain about others not moving, yet Joe can be static. They complain about lack of development as a singer and performer, yet Joe has stayed the same since his auditions. Compare with Olly Murs: Olly can sing (like a man), dance (like a Robbie Williams) and generally be something like a professional. Joe ...

The Talent Show again ... again ... and Why Simon Cowell is a Genius

So ... Jedward are gone ...

The X Factor has produced much that is cringe-inducing over the years, but they certainly were the Kings of Cringeland. However, their demise has been long-expected. After all, there are only so many laughs to be had at the expense of two dimwits who can't sing or dance attempting to dance and sing ...

More interesting was the fact that Olly Murs was given a soft boot ... Lloyd Daniels, almost as bad as the twins, survived. Again. And now Joe McElderry is favourite to win. Which doesn't compute. Two of the most boring contestants, one who can sing, and one who can't, survive again.

The thing these two have in common is the fact they have Cheryl Cole for a mentor. Everyone's favourite polished slapper (for that is what she is - manners are beneath her, class is far above her, and her breasts are permanently ...

The Talent Show Again ...

So, onward goes the Talent Show, like a juggernaut, crushing and mangling all before it ...

John and Edward survive again, not even being put into the lowest two. Yet that's not why Sir Dhahii was embarrassed by his Irishness last night ... no. The trigger for his covering his face last night at Mungolian HQ was something far more sinister: Louis Walsh.

Louis Walsh, the man responsible for so many acts we have come to love or loathe ... Girls Aloud being one of them, for those who remember Popstars: The Rivals, where Walsh championed the girls versus the boys (led by Pete Waterman). Boyzone, of course ...

Yes, Sir Dhahii was curled into a foetus-shape last night, and rather than ignore him as i normally would, I asked what was wrong.

"I think he's worse than a twat, Munk" (yes, he thinks he's endeared himself enough to me to call me ...

Follow-up on the Talent show ...

Yeah ... so there it was. The GBP did their thing, and kept John and Edward in the game ... bye-bye Lucie, lovely legs and all ... Simon Cowell is playing this very interestingly ... letting the GBP have what they seem to want. A kind of use of the crap as a barometer ... if you can't beat John and Edward, you aren't a winner at all ... So now the media and the GBP will cry and gnash their teeth: "Cowell could have got rid of them, but he didn't! He WANTS them to win!" ... No, it's the GBP - they keep voting for them to stay above other acts. And if you watch such a program, and get upset I have a question: are you voting? Are you above voting? Are you too good for it? Are you too fucking clever to waste your money on ...

The Excessively Healthy Organism that is the "Talent" show

What the hell?!

TV. "Reality" TV. "Talent"shows ...

And when the public have to vote ... eh?

Britain's X-Factor is a good place to look at this.

1. Judges: Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole, and Dannii Minogue ...

Cowell makes sense: love him or loathe him, he generally knows what he's doing, and if he says a hopeful has delivered a crap performance, he's usually 100% right. Be as upset as you like about some of the "music" he has helped pollute the airwaves with, but remember, it's you or someone you know bought it (for yourself or another).

Louis Walsh is a twat. I could elaborate, but generally it's best to take my word for it. The man has an apartment in his own ass, and he usually tries to lure unsuspecting boybands into it. His taste in music is atrocious, ...
